You can always contact us if you can't find the answers here.

The rent for monthly accommodation vary from €200 for a shared room, to €1000 for a luxury villa with pool and service. Bali can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be.  Foreign students who come in a group usually share 1 big villa (3-4 rooms) with pool and service for €300-€600 a month.

Total average cost of living for students: €600 – €1320

1. Rent : €200 – €600

2. Transportation (motorbike + fuel): €50 – €70

3. Food: €250-€350

4. Misc. (books, cleaner, laundry, phone, etc) €100 – €300

Bali offers a variety of accommodation alternatives. Students prefer staying in coastal areas like Kuta, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Canggu or Jimbaran. We advise students to stay at a hotel for the first one or two weeks in order to have some time for orientation. The best places to look for a hotel are Poppies Lane 1 and 2, which are especially popular with young visitors. Keep in mind that this is a very touristic area which is not made for everybody. In these first two weeks you will have enough time to get in touch with student agencies for permanent accommodation. They usually offer you accommodation according to your demands and budget.

Students who apply for a short term study program must obtain B211 visa (4 weeks program), and students who apply for a semester program must obtain C316 visa. Requirements of application can be found in international office UNUD.

The answer is no. Your student visa can not be combined with working visa in Indonesia.

The minimum requirements to be eligible for the semester course: that you are now at least in the 3rd semester at your university; and you have sufficient English Skills

There’s no specific dress codes, but tank-tops, shorts and sandals are considered inapropriate in formal places like universities, therefore these kind of wears are strongly not recommended.

Udayana University also provides visa corner service to help international students to prepare or extend their visa. Students are required to arrange their visa which is valid for 60 days starting from students enter Indonesia. It is a single entryvisa, can be extended maximum to 4 times, and each of its extension is 30 days. There are some requirements need to be prepared to arrange the social visa,

including :

1. copy of passport

2. original passport (should be submitted prior to 15 days of expiry date)

3. fill up the immigration form

4. sponsor letter from UNUD and copy of ID (provided by UNUD)

5. photograph and finger print only for the first extension (for second, third and fourth extension only need point 1-3)
